Just thought I'd try the colour version which, in this case, I actually prefer.
I like the contrast between the dark sky and fg, prefer it to the mono
godd composition, excellent sky, a picture with plenty of impact
Like both but for me, the mono shades it.
Stunning shot, looks really good in both versions
great image compositions good and the image is well presented.
I prefer this one too. The B&W one does give a real sense of how bleak it it is. Both great shots though.
nice dramatic sky
Fantastic composition and light.
Thanks all, I appreciate your comments.
Excellent image, proving that light is all important. Nicely composed too.
Great light and composition
Just had a quick peek at the mono. I thought the light might look a little lost (don't know why) on it, but it looks so good on the mono. I like this one for the colours that the light brings out - so this one edges it for me
Beautiful bit of light and an amazing sky. Terrific!
Not one to comment on land scapes usually, but this one grabs me.
Enjoyed the balck and white version and love the colour in this. Chris
Thanks again all.
Welcome to the dark side Harry.
Lovely f/g light
Yup, I like this a lot. Love the dark sky and the building is perfectly placed
What an awesome sky nice one,John
I'll go with this one. It just seems more dynamic and detailed. Sometimes it is hard to describe the difference between B&W and colour and it is more of an impression vs. which one is actually better.
Cheers Pat, I'll go with that.
Go on then i'll give it 9/10 for effort.
