Potteric Carr, just walked in the hide at Piper Marsh and there it was 15 yards away.
You lucky person, not only seeing a bittern so close but capturing it so well.
Great image the Bittern is very well camoflaged.
But my eye keeps gettingdrwan to the blur on the left a bit of reed or something. Is there anyway you could clone it out maybe.I don't know. And i guess you have to take the shot when it arises so to speak.
My area is normally aviation so i don,t have the answer.I hope you do not think this is personal please as i do not wish to offend.
This is straight off the press, I have about 50 images all in 18.5MB raw files and have not had time to process them yet. Say what you feel, I'm not offended, I will have a look through them and may clone this out.
I dont care about the reed to the left, this bird is so difficult to pick up.
Envious or what..lol
Lucky you to see this super bird it's a long time since I have seen one & then it was the far end of some marsh, but to capture it on camera as well
fantastic ive trying to see one of these for years but alas no luck yet nice shot
i have been to poteric carr a few times never seen one yet a great capture well done.
Brilliant shot who's bothered about a bit of reed , a very shy & elusive bird
