I think in the journey from analogue to digital the original image has lost somethings, and picked up others.

The vibrancy of Velvia is not there, and it appears overly sharp in some areas, while being a little overexposed overall.

Ive addressed these areas in a mod, softening the left bank of the stream; reducing exposure about 1/3; and applied a digital Velvia filter to bring back some of the punch the film is known for.

I hope this is helpful,

Regards

Willie

Not a bad scan, but a bit light overall and needs darkening. A reasonable scene without being to impressive - I think the lighting is just to standard.

Thanks to both for the helpful feedback. I can probably get a better scan now as the film has been flattened between books for a week; I find that my home-developed slides are very curly and therefore difficult to scan.
