Its not a bad flower shot Laslo. Theres some good tips in the Technique section on this site for flowers, - you should take a look.

It can be worthwhile to isolate a flower for a shot, - either move some leaves, or if you are serious about the subject, place a black, or other coloured card behind the flower to make it stand out in the shot.

For the standard lens, this is ok, but as you probably know, macro lenses work very well for this subject.

Good image with well handled exposure. The bloom could do to be offset in the frame and with a touch of sharpening.

When I made this picture, macro photography was not a conscious goal, and only met him while touring the nearby tried to shoot without tools. The original image, is designed only to pass without any retouching.
Anyway thank you for your criticism and good advice. The following image is a macro picture with a mirror in which I used.
