This is a working Cocker Spaniel photographed over the weekend for a client.
We were on a Grouse Moor for some of the photos, which is where this one was taken.
It was late in the afternoon and the light was lovely and diffuse.
I used a wide aperture of f3.5 which produced a nice blurred foreground and background.
Shutter speed was 1/160th @ ISO400.
I sat in the heather in order to be at eye-level with the dog rather than looking down at it.
