Just got back from 2 weeks in Alcudia to find these little beauties just scuttling along the back axle of my daughter's bike.

Each one was approx 1mm long so without a macro lens it was difficult to get them... I wanted to get the amazing web structure in too.

Nice shot. like the b&w treatment makes them feel a little more sinister. I posted a shot of these a few days back, there seem to be hundreds of these nests about.

i think it's safe to say that the larger version needs to be viewed in order to get a proper look!

I've also posted shots of these recently. I was fascinated to watch their movements over several days, and then suddenly they were gone. I am reliably told they float away on the wind.
