Thought I'd upload a wildlife shot to see how it looks with the new border.

Yet another shot of the capercaillie. I do have one or two more Smile

This one is in a slightly more aggressive pose. I do have a shot where he is actually kicking up some snow, so may upload that later.

a magnificent bird, that probably 99.9% of the population do not realise is present in the UK Smile

Adrian

PS It was actually one of the first birds I looked at, in one of the Bannerman & Lodge books, that my brother used to order from the local libary for me.
Probably about ten years old at the time Smile

It is truly a fine shot of one of our grandeur birds, that very few ever have the privilige to see in the wild.

Thanks Adrian for the UA.

Thanks all. A real privilege to see this bird in the UK, much easier to see in parts of Europe, but special to be on home soil. Will upload the other shot later today as non of my shots today are working quite as planned. Such is life!
