Much better "large" if you've time ... it's a little bit 3D'ish
Had a great day with fellow epz's, Phil_Morgan, Tom (Toffee) and Ian (TROOPER) hosted at Angi's (Zarozinia) Reptile Planet.. thanks Angi!
Thanks for looking and the cc's on yesterday English Country Garden (2), obviously 1 was better

Stunning Image Jon. DoF spot on. Nice and crisp. These little guys are just amazing to photograph. Dave Southard from Wild Arena also has workshops for these guys and more. They are well worth a look at. He has them at his home in studio settings too. Definatly view this image large.
Regards Andy
Fabulous capture Jon and the pin point detail to the head and eye works well !!
Congrats on the HC, Well deserved , Great detail and lighting on the head
Jon this is superb, I knew you caught lots of top notch shots yesterday, you seem to be a natural with macro. I cant wait to see more. I love the light, pose and DOF in this.

WOW! 1/5" Well that just goes to show that it is worth not using flash then
and it can be done. I prefer not using flash myself and often dont even use a tripod either on the smaller subjects when I'm trying to get in close. It might take some messing around with lighting but the effects are better, to me anyway.
Seriously guys, I cant tell you how difficult it can be getting so much of this chameleon in focus when you are up close and this image is a testament to Jons skills as a photographer.
a real belter of a shot. Superb detail, has to be viewed large congrats on the HC
