Sunset colour by ripleysalien

Sunset colour

Hmm, I've gone between them and the contrasts and shapes are certainly more apparent in the mono but the subtle colouring in this is very pleasant. For me it's one which works well as both versions, and worth doing and keeping both.
You can tell it's the same sky, more or less, as my last upload, can't you?

Sunset mono by ripleysalien

Sunset mono

Very similar sky as I ended up with 40 miles away! Nicely captured with the reflections. I know you're into the mono's but this one's got to be good in colour too?

J & J

The thumb stood out, and the image does too, for the quality of the lighting and beautiful framing/composition. Very good wedding photography.

The Refuge by pdove

The Refuge

A good choice for mono in my opinion, and nicely done. Perhaps even more contrast would be even more effective, but I'm not sure. Looks good as is.

First Light by TrevBatWCC

First Light

A very fine view at a ridiculously early hour. This is what we lazy types miss so often I'm afraid. Knowing that doesn't make it any easier to get up though, for me at least Sad
