I preffer the portrait shot, as I feel the left side of this image adds nothing and the cut off sedum takes away too much.
I think a tighter crop here would help, to the left of the sign on the right and then to the left of the picket fence would give the shot impact.

Thanks fellas. Steve, I guess I thought the left of the shot provided a lead in, but I think a much tighter crop would have worked better, thanks.

I agree leigh it does have a leadin and out onto Huntcliff, a person walking left to right between the edge of frame and the hut would fill the void i think.

Hi Leigh. I prefer this to the previous image. Seems less cluttered and the lead in is better. Colours on my monitor are very vibrant and "post card like". Probably suits this image but not your usual subtle tones.
