The way the sweet Pea leaps out to you here, and the various parts of the flower become totally separate, is fascinating.
I love these flowers and they work well against a black BG. I'd have preferred not to have it in stereo though; also, the right image is sharpened more that the left one.
Sorry that Ewan cannot be excited by the absolute magic I find 3D pictures to be. Her similar shot in 2D seems so very flat and uninteresting by comparison IMHO.
I do accept her comment about the degree of sharpness between the two shots. The happy thing about that is that it seems to make no difference to the 3D viewing where the sharp aspect prevails.
You callin' me a girl? Ewan's a bloke's name north of the border
Anyway, I hadn't realised before that I had to do the old eye-crossing malarky with this and you're right: the softness doesn't matter in this respect.
Of all your 3D shots this is the only one I can get to 'work' and it does look good. Still prefer only 2 D's for photos though
This one has the deepest 3D effect yet! Particularly as you point out, it emerges from the screen. Is it related to the inter-optic distance used...i.e. the distance between the 'two' lenses?
This is amazing. If you cross your eyes just right, you can get the 3d effect with nothing else needed! Well done.
Dreadfully sorry Ewan. Totally unforgiveable of me. Should have realised from your picture of course. I do hope there are no hard feelings and am very glad you came back to get me sorted.
Very generous of you to say you like the shot after that too. 3D in this new digi world has motivated me to get back to photography. 3D was all too difficult with film previously.
Thanks Verne and Patrick. Very glad you had a successful viewing.
Verne: The distance I found by trial and error. All the 3D shots I have uploaded so far were taken after displacing the camera exactly 3cms. It would need to be increased if the subject distance increased.
Hope you all try it out.
My son has just had a look Len and he is away saying thats great he wants to try it...nice material and a good camera work foundation.
Great, now my eyes will not uncross and everything is in 3D.This one rocks.Well done.
No hard feelings at all
Yes,, its all coming so clear now..
How about a photoshoot with some glamour models now ;p lol
