About Me
I'm only recently started taking my photography more seriously with the purchase of my first DSLR with the intention of capturing some good images from our Safari Honeymoon. Since then that has extended to two Canon DSLRs and three film SLRs (Canon & Nikon) and several lenses, tripods and various other accessories. My Photography has improved since first picking up the first SLR, mainly with the assistance of the PhotoPlus magazine, which guided me through all the functions on my Canons in a very user friendly way. My aim is to get the picture right in the camera, and avoid too much time spent on the computer editing the images afterwards (My day job involves spending all day in front of a computer and I don't want my evening to follow the same pattern). I took a City & Guilds level 2 certificate in Photo Image Capture at Exeter college in 2009 gaining straight distinctions. I'm now the Publicity and Website committee member at Crediton Photography Club.
