Love the bronzes colours and shapes in this image

Spitfire & Mustang

Spitfire & Mustang by teocali

Is the image as shot and the fact they appear to be almost touching wings an optical illusion? or has there been a bit of adjustment here?

Valletta Church

Valletta Church by Andrew_Hurley

Love the colours and tones of the church, but there's too much shadow in the foreground for me as it just keeping dragging my eye to the bottom of the image

Good attempt from the distance the public areas are from the track, you might want to consider cropping the image to take out the running rail in the foreground and the back of the horse at the left of the frame.

Love it, almost as good as your forum image on the horse topic. Just missing the rearing horse as they fall

Beautiful capture, the reflection is almost more vivid that the bird itself.

Chasing the Dream

Chasing the Dream by fran_weaver

Good image well timed. I agree with Danh and Campervanman about the cropping. I've also loaded a mod, with square cropping to try and make more of the angle of the horse but means scarificing some of the space for the horse to jump into and blurred the background out quickly (a bit rough round the edges) to give you and idea of the difference it can make.

Horse Play

Horse Play by fran_weaver

Well done Fran, its a good effort for someone who doesn't like horses. My comments are in line with Campervanman's although getter lower is difficult with small fences. The other possible improvement could be your positioning, so that the horse and rider are slightly more angled towards you. The rider will often be looking in the direction of their next jump as the go over the current one, or the direction they have to ride in next. After a couple of rounds you can usually identify a good position where you can get a better view of the emotion on the riders face.

Love this shot, that face just shows the love of the music, backlightlighting managed well. I'd have preferred to see less motion blur on the hands.

Was going to say, I didn't remember any rain. Like the effect.

v5 for me, shows the playful nature of the cubs best.
