Just as the tide reaches the right height to spill over the rocks like this it unfortunately also becomes the time that you get cut off from the best vantage point just a couple of shots, then a quick dash/wade back to shore before its too late!

Well worth the risk, Paul. I've just been cleaning my camera and appalled to find solid salt deposits in all the nooks and grannies including the lens release button that has recently been sticking when depressed because of all that salt. Sounds like its had its chips Grin
