Having a cheeky day off work and enjoying catching up on all things that usually blight my weekend. I popped over to New Brighton last night to get 'something different'. Don't get me wrong, the lighthouse was looking good so it was hard to resist. So for those of you that haven't been, this is the view to the left rear from the normal front on lighthouse shots. Probably could have come up with a better composition but I was shivering with red hands from the cold at this point. It's not a show stopper but I kind of like it. Thoughts welcome. I'll upload the original. Got rid of the cast by split selection (top and bottom) and adding a curve layer. (usually by hitting the auto curves and seeing what it throws up and then take it from there). Sharpened up using the smart sharpen filter and knocking back the luminosity in the fade layer option (to hold back the halo's apparently).
Thanks for looking,
