One of the earlier photos taken at the Barn Owl Centre EPZ meeting toward. Image taken in Manual mode with the following settings: F11 @ 1/800, ISO 800, centre point autofocus, AI Servo mode, daylight white balance. Lens: AF, IS off, 2.5 focal distance at 150mm.

A fine shot

As amatterof course it might be worth shooting this type of shout with the WB set to cloudy.You can always tweek it a tad afterwards if need be.

Thanks for the comments all. Tomcat, I'd used the daylight setting for the same reason, consistency across the day's shoot and adjust in raw later. Would I have gained from the slightly warmer temperature as the default? We didn't have a cloud in the sky, so the daylight setting just felt like the more natural one to use.
