f2.8 at 1/3200, 100mm focal lenght, auto white balance, no exposure bias. Center weighted metering, and single central AF point. Colours adjusted in RAW editor, background cars darkened, cropping and sharpening in Photoshop.

a shot like this needs to be round the other way its a bit tight.

Hi Colin, The original image was in Landscape and i'd had some space to play with, but I've chosen to compromise and crop in that close to remove the cars in the background which drew the attention way from the subject entirely.

Can understand why you have chosen to do what you have, there is always so much to distract the eye at these events it can be very frustrating however nothing would distract me from this great combination!!!

yes that is a problem, sometimes i just walk in places you seem to get away with it when you have a nice white L lens on !
