Splendid animal - nicely captured. The image could stand just a bit more contrast, especially to bring out the detail on the head.

like the expression...thanks for sharing your appreciation of all living things...the respect comes right through the photograph! and about my last upload...the title is a play off of the theory of relativity...I believe emotion is the driving force in the universe and it travels faster than light...so E=mc cubed! Does that make any sense?
Enough said about the contrast already. This is a great shot but for me I'd like to see more of the lizard. The patterns on the body are tantalizingly disappearing out of the frame and they do look quite superb.
Any chance of a second upload of this??
