The third in the series and now in the highest most easterly point of Vietnam, Dong Van which is close to the Chinese border and this upload comes from the Sunday market which is an authentic mountain market with ethnic tribes making there way down from the mountain villages the day before sleeping on the streets, many travel 30 kl plus to the market which sells everything from fresh produce to clothes right through to buffalo's cows, pigs and of course dog, pet variety and other.
The women's normally doing the buying and selling as the men drink the rice and corn wine on offer. The trip back to the mountain villages can be then hazardous as the men often fall over drunk at the side of the mountain tracks, the women staying with them till there sober enough, making sure they don't fall over the edge.
This upload is of a young boy enjoying his early morning breakfast inside one of the covered food areas, some interesting breakfasts on offer here from blood soup to what the boy is eating, a bowl of Pho
Thanks as always for looking, its Sunday and a mono, never mind, large may be worth a peek though.
