Fairly busy at the moment so it's one from my equine series called the full plait
One recent shoot in the bag and a couple more planned in the coming weeks, just time then to process a few.

Great portrait Les, excellent processing as usual.
Very special this Les.
Skilful work..........for both the photography and the person who plaited the mane...............
What a fabulous image...... the horse is beautiful and the plating on the main is a work of art!
Superb work Les, I might have been tempted to clone the piece of chain out though.
A really lovely portrait & very interesting as I have never seen a horse plaited like this;
wondering where this is used?

Beautifully detailed, sensitively portrayed ... excellent photography.
Very beautiful. One the owner should have big and over his fireplace, on display........Sandy
Like the details and tone textures Les.
Congrats on the awards too
Thanks everyone for the comments and likes on this one, special thanks to Gilly for the GEA and to the following for their User Award, Chris, Adam, Alan and Dave.
Sandy the owner has two large prints from the session and they both have pride of place in her home.
Ju it is the owner who does the plaiting, we hope to have further sessions with other styles soon.
Darren, I was tempted to remove the chain but it's part of the head gear so I thought it best it stays.
I think it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, top-notch quality work here Les!
A real show stopper both horse and photographer

Congrats on all the awards Les
A great presentation of this extraordinary horse
what an beautiful creature and all ready to go
i wonder how it really feels :O)
This horse is fine about it, she often treated to various styles by her owner and is very patience whilst the plaits are completed, some take a long time to do, she loves the fuss and attention.
