Second upload of this recent little shoot with Carla Monaco.
Tried something different with shape creating and a hard light look with a large softbox and grid
Thanks for looking
like the use of the underskirt and tones here Les.
not sure about a soft box generating hard light Les certainly no hard shadows in this.
Wonderful mono image Les.
A stunning quality piece of work, Les
A great mono art work, love it !
This is an excellent portrait that really transcends the border into Fine Art for me Les. The models vulnerability comes across very well and as usual your concept, lighting and processing are first class.
I agree with Derek about venturing into fine art. Maybe she could have been turned a few degrees to her left and looking a wee bit more over her shoulder so she looks a bit more 'caught out'?
Thanks for your comments and likes.
Richard the softbox was just the frame with a grid fitted so no diffusion.
Thanks Derek for the mention of Fine Art, that was the look with the set up and more so with my the processing that I was after.
Mike, good suggestion, thank you, I wanted the straight on side look to keep the lines clean if know what I mean, will revisit the others to see if I have one nearer what you suggest.
Really wonderful work, I don't think I've ever seen her fully clothed. Which isn't a bad thing.
Very nice Les
Very classy shot. Well done
Lovely work Les, isn't she a great model.
Love it, great shot!
Interesting how we try and analyse things. I thought you'd used a softbox for general lighting and put a snooted spot on her face...
I have a small niggle Les - her feet seem to draw my eye. No, I don't have a foot fetish! They just do...
Other than that it's a really nice image!
Cheers Pete, the feet were/are an issue to me also, I did think of cloning them out just to give it better symmetary. If I use it elsewhere for a comp etc I may attend to her feet, lighting I think we'll leave that for now LOL, thanks for your feedback though.
Excellent work and nicely converted mon as usual Les.
