From the dark blacks to bright whites, the vision is one step beyond
Thanks as always for looking
Not much more to say than: exceptional.
I feel myself being pulled into the cauldron of water at the end of those steps.
An absolute stonker of a B&W. Very jealous.
Beautifully punchy tones. Very dramatic.
Congrats on the awards Les, like the mono processing, but just wonder about the hard white edge outline near the bottom of the steps perhaps a bit of toning to soften it as the other transitions
Thanks for the comments and likes everyone, specially Anne for her GEA award and Mr B for the extra sticker.
Richard I looked at that long and hard, in the end my thoughts were to leave it, when it comes to printing I may look again, until then I'm happy with the image as is.

Ditto - a great image, wish it was mine
I am loving this to bits. Absolutely gorgeous, Les.
Thank you so much for your user award Ian, pleased it ticks the boxes for you
Absolutely superb Les and my taste in subject matter to boot. The high contrast toning works extremely well. Gets my award today
Thank you so much Derek for your User Award, like Ian's it mean a lot to me, thank you
Cheers Brian for your User Award, these mean a great detail to me, pleased you like the image.
Very strong image Les, tho I do agree with Richard about the end step, water transition line.
Cheers Nick, it's the wash back of the tide, because it's natural I decided to keep it in, I believe it adds rather than detracts, appreciate the comment though
A real stunner Les .Have my award to go along with all the others ...Phil
Congrat's Les, excellent mono work!
Thanks for your User Award Phil, very much appreciated.
a stunning monochrome well deserved all the accolades
Top quality mono work, Les, a cracking image
Thank you Captain-Scalet for your User Award, pleased you like the image
My kind of image Les ,got some like this but no where near as good, really like the reflective light on the side walls and steps .
the lights and darks work well and the central view point has initial impact, have you thought about a boat on the horizon?
