Last Saturday saw my first outing of the year, in the good company of Nick Walton (Nick_w), we huffed, puffed and puffed a bit more on our way up to the tops of Twistleton Scar.
Setting off from the car there were a few clouds around but by the time we got to the top they'd vanished leaving what became a clear blue sky, so time for another mono Im afraid, anyway mono shows the moon better LOL.

Thanks for looking

Aye, he is an illusive character. He promised me a shoot few years ago and I still haven't seen his shadow....Smile

Really like the composition Les. Strong in mono with a good balance of tone.
Actually the clear sky works well contrasting against the texture in the pavement and tree branches.

Good details in this high structure mono. Also a rather good tonal range.

Pity the sky has'nt got a bit more character Les. That said I do like the mono conversion as it really does emphasise the foreground textures. That's a most photogenic tree in the foreground too.

Once again thanks for your time on this one, much appreciated.
Agree about the sky Dave, possibly need to save up and invest in one of those fancy cloud and light machines Sut68 has, hopefully the new model will be at Focus

I've dug the gym membership out as a result. I like it Les a very good conversion - still got to have a good look at mine.
