A huge thanks to everyone for the comments and specially the User Awards given on my last upload.
A change of genre for this upload, one of a possible mini series, the edwardian with a touch of steam punk
Thanks as always for looking
Very tasty Les ..... though TBH I prefer the colour "variant" on t'other channel ..... sssshhhhhhh
Cheers Dave, the colour one will be along next.
Classic beauty..............quality work..............
Nice Portrait !! I Like it!!
This is the best ever, really the best! A combination of all that is beautiful, a stunning woman, Edwardian attire and with a touch of Steampunk thrown in. A mind bogglingly beautiful black and white image. I would saw off my own foot and then eat it raw to just once in my life take a photo as good as this.
Thank you for taking it and sharing.
Thank you Julia for your GEA very much appreciated.
Dave (bluesandtwos) thank you for your excitment but please don't go to the lengths of sawing your foot off, think of the mess.
Just beautiful and suits B&W really well.
Beautiful young lady in a beautiful outfit taken in beautiful lighting resulting in a beautiful image simply beautiful.
Tonal range eye contact pose this has got the lot congratulations to both yourself and the model.
The best I have seen on this site for a long time.
Very nice Les look foreword to the rest
Going to have to wait until I can see this on a screen and not the tablet as on here some of that post prod work on the skin and around the ears looks a bit extreme.
Like the eye connectiona and styling Les, not too keen on the over soften skin on the face, a bit too much for me
Congrats on the GEA

totally agree with this ..
Such wonderful eyes and style. Beautiful....and I like the skin in this particular usage, like porcelain and so very well shaded.
I like it Les, but her left ear doesn't quite look right (the highlight on the lips is a bit destracting too). Both are easily corrected tho.
Lou is lovely,
i met her at Lincoln in Sept at the steampunk and again recently when she came to our club, maybe the exposure is a bit over bright on the rh side of the face, but its hard to take a bad pic of her despite the fact that she hasnt been in front of the camera much
did Julie come along too

I agree with that, Les.
very nice image of a steam punk...
Looks like it was one the best worknights at the CC...pity I was away on holiday and missed it! A cracking mono portrait, Les
No denying its impact Les, even with the earlobes..
I love that touch of 'Steam Punk' going on here!
Very nice indeed!
Stunning portrait Les
'Edwardian Punk' how cool is that!!
Huge thanks to Ken, Stace and Tom for your User Awards, makes it all worthwhile.
Thank you also for the likes, comments and feedback about the image, appreciate them all.
Excellent portrait of this beautiful lady.
Thanks for your User Award Dave (Bluesandtwos) greatly appreciated
Love the styling Les, great portrait.
A smashing image Les.
Great eye connection on this image Les, works very nicely in B&W. I also love the angle of the hat (right to left) which really adds to the composition. The necklace is a great accessory which at first I did not pay much attention too and the detail on the cogs really ads polish to a great image.
