I had an hour or so spare yesterday and as I was near to Borough Market (London) which is not only a feast for food but a with so many characters about, street photography came to mind.
These two likely lads were part of a scooter group, a throw back to the days of the mods possibly, but it gave me an opportunity to try my hand at shooting from the hip. Not and easy thing to do but after a few false starts
I did manage a few useful shots, I think. Hats off the likes of "Franken" & "Woodlark" who do street photography and make it look so good.
As per usual thanks for looking.

Laurel and Hardy re-incarnate. Nice bit of candidry, Les.

An excellent candid and great mono conversion Les, looks like you mastered it after your false starts.
Darren.
Keep coming back to this one, it has the perfectly choreographed balance that real life throws up sometimes. Faces, hands, feet - you couldn't ask them to pose better. The inclusion of the lamp post on the right is perfect, it gives them a frame.

Quote: Thank you very much Anne for your UA, well pleased. Gone better than I thought this.
Back stateside now / the lady on the right looking through the fencing really made this one for me - here I am on this side, there she is on her side - super candid street capture. I love street!

Good mates. The first words that spring to mind when viewing this excellent upload. The choice of using mono for this twin male candid works a real treat for me with the richness of the blacks and whites being the icing on the cake. You captured this moment in time so exstremly well Anne.
Love it.
Dave.
