That "Green Water" is just lots of 'unsinkable' leaves floating on the surface of a big pond-like waterbody.

This could be improved simply by making the water line or horizon line horizontal.

The foreground is a little uninteresting so you could have tried a lower position to bring the plants into a more prominent role in the photo. By getting closer to a small group of plants they would act as the foreground interest and an aperture of f11 to f16 would bring the f/g through to the background into sharp focus.

A few easy basic things to think about will improve your photography quickly.

I appreciate what you are saying and I'm sure that would have created a better shot, but you need to understand that I was in moving vehicle with a crummy little "point 'n' shoot". Tongue
