I have the canon Pixma ix6550. Over all I'm happy with it, dcash29 is quite right, great colour prints. I'm also having problems getting neutral b&w, I keep trying different settings and routes but I'm getting frustrated with either faint red or faint green colour casts. I'm trying to print some b&w portraits at the moment and I'm getting frustrated. I want them for a club comp. and they won't do.
I have managed to get some b&w that I'm happy with but it's a bit of a struggle, shame.
If you buy this printer and get good b&w after you profile it I'd be interested to know what you did.
