Macro capture of this ancient ornate gold Etruscan intaglio ring with a milky gray stone, dating from the 4th-3rd Century BCE. One can see the masterful level of fine gold filigree craftsmanship of the ring (likely a men's ring) with the engraved intaglio. Photograph was taken in low ambient light at the Rhode Island School Of Design Museum Of Art on Benefit Street in Providence, Rhode Island. This relic was a gift of Ostby & Barton made in memory of Englehardt Cornelius Ostby in 1923.
