Close-up capture of a beautiful light tangerine-colored Iris growing on the side of my townhouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia on a sunny day in the early Spring. This was taken with my 2nd digital camera, my 3.2 MP Toshiba PDR 3310. Hope everyone's Week is going well & that you like the image. Regards...Peter

Good morning Peter. Wonderful iris, but It is a pity on a background there is a girl....But it is an interesting variant of a background! Wink

Colin & Evengya, thanks for your votes,...but that pretty petite blonde in the background is my girlfriend, Debra. I just couldn't "frame or clone her out of the picture." Get it?? Regards...Peter

A beautiful iris, wonderful colour. Would be good to see the iris against a plain background. Carol

A lovely iris I have never even heard of before let alone seen - I agree with Carol about it being on a plain BG

Understand the problem re the girlfriend but have to agree a plain bg would really due full justice to this obviously beautiful Iris. You could take a great portrait of the girlfriend to make up for clonning her out!

Lovely flower - agree about the background though. Even a sheet of card or something held behind would do the trick. Definitely worth another go.
