Hi all, and a BIG thank you to all who voted and kindly commented on my Farnborough series.
For now though, it's my contribution to the Olympics, as sadly, I wont be taking part ![]()
On the 19th July the Twelve Bells of Canterbury Cathedral rang out across the City, and the Sun brightly shone for 18yr old Thomas Clues from Plaxtol, who carried the Torch through the Cathedral Gate, and up to the Cathedral itself. Thomas is a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer who also overcame Leukaemia. Among those waiting to greet Him where the Dean, Robert Willis, and the Bishop of Dover, Trevor Willmott.
I'm sorry it's such a large upload, 24 pictures in all, but 24 pictures that tell a Story, a Canterbury Tale.
Hope you enjoy, and all the best to all,
John ![]()

An enjoyable series and a fine display of your devotion to reportage sequences. This must be your longest ever!
V4 and Versions 11-13 appeal most to me.
I shall not be taking part in the Olympics, either, though I shall watch the final of the cycling road race on Saturday. Full stop.

Although I voted yesterday John, I didn't have time to have a good look at all of them, which I've now done. A wonderful selection of the scenes revolving around the olympic torch - and a complete view of what was a great day! As to a favourite - too difficult to choose as they could all stand alone! ![]()
