Hi everyone, hope you're having a great Weekend and enjoying some proper Summer weather at last.
Well here they are then, as threatend, my set of Dungeness pic's taken last Sunday, at the Woolybill meet, arranged by Dave 87. What a lovely group of people from epz, we all got on so well, and as for Dave 87, what a Star you are mate ![]()
Well I wont go into depth about Dungeness, as it would be far more interesting for you, if you're interested, to look it up on the Net. But what a mad crazy place it is, I'm sure there's nowhere else quite like it on the Planet![]()
Hope you enjoy this set, and you can play 'Spot The Tog' in V7 and V11
V10 is a little more obvious ![]()
My thanks to all who attended, and a special thanks to Dave, for making it a truly smashing Day.
And thanks to all for your kind comments and votes on my recent uploads.

V10 is quite mild compared with what I was expecting...
V2 & V5 are absolute belters, and cases where vignetting works well.
And V7 is a hoot, I have one of Sarah lurking among the undergrowth too...
Thanks for happy reminders of a great day.
Hugs to everyone involved,
Moira
You want to add Rusty to your list of tags. Mikbee & co will love this.
A great set of images. Personally, I'd have split them up a little, as it's too big a set to post at once.
An excellent set, John, some seriously good work alongside the fun shots (I never took a picture at that moment, wonder if the other two did?) It was indeed a fantastic afternoon. We went back on two further occasions; suffice it to say that none of us there that afternoon seems to have doubled up on anyone else's pictures.
I'm going to single out V3 for attention as I'm just a teensy weensy bit envious of it, it's so different. Actually I'm a bit envious of the rest too, apart from V11 I suppose (!), so my Pic of the Week goes to the entire set.
Regards
Bill
An interesting set of images giving us a good feel for the place. Plenty of rust and decay in these
Glad you enjoyed the day - it was good to see the face behind the pictures - a nice selection of our "backyard" - thought you may have taken the ride on Thomas the tank engine!!! - an untidy beach now - deliberately so as the fisherman have experienced quite a bit of vandalism and so some have moved to Rye. How to see you back again
Regards,
Ray
Ha ha, love the idea of it being your backyard Ray ![]()
Ends with - unluckily for some V13!! But not in this case, top marks for spotting the wild flowers that add the hint of colour to the otherwise deserted beach at Dungeness John - works a real treat in this case. Fully endorse Bills award for this series because you have captured the feeling of Dungeness with it’s flaking paint, rust, and abandonment superbly here.
Does what it said on the box, and a pleasure to view.
Dave.
