Bad for them. Good for you. Now, get up off the ground, dust yourself off and take a bow. |
the blue boat by cornish_chris Fine colors and the placement of the elements in the frame shows the care you took to get it right. |
We were there in 2003. It was a surprise to us as we came round the bend and over the hill to first see something-- couldn't tell what-- then couldn't believe what we saw once we identified it. We were there about 1 hour. Three separate rain showers got us, each separated by bright sun. Thanks for the memories. |
Highlighted Lighthouse by Porthos Outstanding light! Well done throughout. |
Ballymacdermot Court Tomb by Leslie-Hanthorne Where in the world are people today? This one makes me moan with pleasure. What an image. All elements come together on this one. |
BLACKPOOL TOWER AND PIER by GERRYGENTRY Good perspective, point of view, exposure, color. Full of interest. |
Beautiful stones. The horizon makes a smiley face. There is also a bit of a glow along the line demarcating a contrast shift. Just the right amount of sky. |
Heritage Skies. by Buffalo_Tom The sky is a fine backdrop for the colorful cliff and those well framed stones in the foreground. |
Portrait orientation enhances the flow and line of the long shot. Strong contrast of colors from hot gold to cool blue. |
Watership Down. |
Family vacation in the dead sea by dubi_feiner The poor child would have nightmares the rest of her life! Nicely done by you. |
Padley Gorge by AndalucianPhotoAdventures You chose not to increase contrast and saturation to unreal heights. I love these verdant scenes, so common in the US Appalachian Mountains. |
Early duck by winger Nicely done with your "model" but I especially like the reflected sunrise light on the rocks and rim of the pool. |
Southwest coast path Cornwall by Stevefz This has a fine contrast of light and mood, from tangled anguish to brooding to journey to light. |
Coniston from the Water by RobMacormac very natural color of a scene that inspires. |
Milky Way & Meteors by RichyRobs Surprising at only 15 seconds and low noise (at this size) for ISO 6400. The lens distortion of the fence somehow enhances the image. |
