My first in flight of the hummingbird

A little update from Costa Rica
Very hot now that we have left the mountains,
Have experienced a earthquake! Thought it was due to my excitement of taking photos of such wonderful birds...
Wink had a massive thunder/ lightning storm getting into a hotel two days ago..sat eating cold pizza on balcony watching it happen, as too wet to go out for meal..brilliant experiences.
Yesterday drove north to Tamarindo where I am staying for 4 days ( too recoup!) also saw wild crocodiles in a river,
going swimming shortly.

Hope you like the photo...keep well my friends
Lillian

Sounds like you're having a great time Lillian, I'm really pleased for you.
Now you don't get to take pictures like this in England, but we sure are having plenty of Thunder and lightning.
Take care Lillian, and our very VERY best to you.

Good focus on the head. Well done you.

If you are going swimming in the river, have those crocodiles been warned?

Very nice timing.
You are battling against very bright sunshine.
Flower looks a bit burnt out so I might have crop closer to Humming Bird.
Great timing.
Think you done very, very well to get the image.

Excellent capture Lillian. I feel you have done rather well here to get the bird.I know they tend to hover when they feed but then they move at a million miles an hour. Lovely shot.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
