V2 is a butterfly from yesterday at Wisley Gardens,
a version as I am useless at butterfly images..landscapes as well come to that!
but was asked for this one to start the Sweden series...rest are birdsWink

Thank you to John and Mike for your User Awards on the Flamingo yesterday
thank you all for stopping by...book on Sweden should be finished today...yippee!!

You are too modest Lillian. Both are lovely shots and my favourite has to be that butterfly. Such a little beauty sitting on that plant. Mooira

Wow Lilian it is a beautiful sunset, great light and colours....and the butterfly is delightful, what beautiful markings it has. Like me you prefer to stick to your comfort zone....think you should branch out, they are good

The butterfly is an owl butterfly, Lillian, and what a beauty. The Swedish scene is glorious, with those wonderful reflections. Carol

Impossible to compare a sunset with a butterfly! But two great images, Lillian, and though the butterfly doesn't fill the frame, it's beautifully captured and sharp. Not only a super sunset in V1, but you've got some lovley reflections, too SmileSmile

I like the way you have used the light in V1, to provide reflections and shadows.
The butterfly is also good, lovely colours and good detail.
Cannot see anything wrong with either, Lillian Smile

Lovely quality of light and warm evening pastels on the landscape, Lillian. v2 is sharp and detailed and with the original file size you've got plenty to play around with a crop.

Amazing reflections, Lillian. Razor sharp and beautifully exposed capture of the butterfly too! Dave is right about the crop, if V2 is uncropped.
