Cathedral Quarry

Whilst supervising a couple of Duke of Edinburgh's Award practice expeditions in the area I finally managed to get a brief visit to the quarry which I have been meaning to find for a few years now.

The sunlight created some beautiful beams of light drying damp rock and picking out the breath of my colleague who was relatively willing to stand still and breath out as I attempted to capture the shapes of the air.

One day I will manage to get back there with a bit more time to take some more pictures but no doubt the light / weather won't be quite as kind to me / impressive as it was that day.
