The cake looks absolutely delicious (though I don't like those little rock hard, silver balls, they hurt my teeth!) and you've put the image together brilliantly.
Yes, the cake is slightly fuzzy. I really like the point of view, did you place the camera on the table and use self-timer?
I love the composition but the point of focus {pof} is too far back, you should try focusing on the nearside of the icing. But otherwise very nice!
Great looking photo, But it does make me feel hungry

thanks guys, i got my camera about 2 weeks ago, so i'm still testing it out alot i just got a white sheet of paper and put it against the table top
