92203 Black Prince at work

B.R. Standard class '9F' 2-10-0, No. 92203, 'Black Prince' at work. In 2008 Mendip Rail in conjunction with the East Somerset Railway, held a steam Gala (Cranmore 150 - Quarry Gala Weekend) at the former Foster Yeoman Torr Quarry at East Cranmore. Throughout the weekend heavy freight haulage demonstrations were put on by both Black Prince and also 'S160' class 2-8-0, No. 5197, as individually and together they pulled 1800t aggregate trains up and down the sidings.
