Thanks again for all of the votes and comments on yesterdays black veined white imageSmile

This sequence is of a predatory lacewing, the common Ascalaphe (Libelloides longicornis), wresting in an alpine meadow again on the Col des Fillys.

From what I can find out, these are predatory and take flies on the wing. Not a quiet flier though.
