Thanks for all the votes and comments on the Burnet moth image earlier this week

Today a member of the Hesperiidae family - a Large Skipper (Ochlodes faunus) (I think but please let me know if you disagree), photographed basking in the French Alps at La Breole this summer.

Agree on the ID, we also had lots of those this year. Did you have them till late September like here? the second generation was quite late this year, wasn't it?
