I went off to the car boot on Sunday morning - I only go when I'm visiting my parents so it was a treat to have a mooch around. Alas nowadays there isn't a great deal of goodies but I did quite well this time - this silver plated candelabra for one - not exceptionally cheap - well 8 but lower than the ones I've seen in the local charity shops and the price was much the same as those I've seen.

I think it might come in useful.......

I thought it was Christmassy too but nontheless a really good imag.

Thanks folks Smile Actually it looking Christmassy isn't such a bad thing - it's never too early to start thinking about Christmas card designs and this might be the start of something suitable.

Somewhere in that ancient book will be a recipe for Christmas Pudding (it's an old cooks book from about 1908 which is full of recipes and newspaper clippings).

Thanks for the mod too Dave - I'll download it tonight or tomorrow and compare the two.....
