An image from March 2010 but converted to B and W..........the view is across Loch Lomond from Craigie Fort to the hills behind Luss on the western shore.......the main island in the scene is Inchfad and the conical hill to the left is Beinn Eich.
My thanks to all who commented on and made useful suggestions regarding An Autumnal Study.
Ronnie.

One of your best Ronnie, excellent exposure composition and tones, works very well in mono.
Regards
Trev.
preparing us for winter here Ronnie enough light and shadow here to make the mono work well with good snowy and shadow reflections

Fine detail and clarity in this conversion, Ronnie, the snow on the hills completes some lovely banding.

Lovely monochrome conversion Ronnie, B&W always suits snow scenes. Seems to suit the images so well.

Mountains always attract me, this is a beautiful winter scene, makes me want to get up into the middle of that view!

this looks freezing cold but very serene ... are you planning to enter this in the winter competition? I'd think it is well qualified!

what a place to live, must be good wildlife opps there Ronnie
A stunner, Ronnie, well suited to mono, and you have done a wonderful conversion here. I always enjoy reflections with an island because it teases the eyes and brain, there being two lots of reflections overlapping.
A really impressive mono conversion, Ronnie
Alun
The mono conveys the cold wintery conditions so well Ronnie
