Close-up shot of Common Green Capsids or to use their posh name (Lygocoris Pabulinus) mobbing a Common Burdock (Arctium minus).
Common green Capsids are the bane of the gardener and fruit grower, because they attack growing plant tips. They suck out the sap of plants, as diverse as Fuschias, to fruit trees. Unfortunately they are lethal to apple, gooseberry, pear, plum and strawberry to name a few, as they kill the plant cells with their toxic saliva.
