Composition and lighting on this is excellent Fred, the shadow detail on the face is what is known as Rembrant lighting creating the triangle on the cheek, most photographers find this hard to achieve in studio conditions, you have done this with natural light my friend, be proud of your excellent capture!

The fish is called Smooth-belly sardinella or Tabagak is what we call and make a salted sundried fish. They used a pump boat or "Bangka" a type of outrigger boat.

Thanks Sylv. Just saw his portfolio and checked where he live. He's from Cavite and I'm from Bacolod City and we're distance apart. Need to ride a boat at about 24 hrs then ride a bus almost 2hrs.He's portfolio are amazingly awesome. Nice to know I have here a fellow Filipino on the site.
