I pride myself in knowing what it was immediately, but you have captured the detail beautifully, and it is almost abstract...a frame full of feathers.

Very rare and stunning capture, Fred - I was thinking if I shoot a thousand times and I'm still not sure I will catch it in this abstract angle - excellent

Hmm, a big birds bum, nice. Smile

It looks quite surreal & abstract, actually, especially as a thumbnail. Well done for trying something different.

Wondeful shot Smile

Great 'abstract' and close-up shot !

From the thumbnail image, I tried guessing what it was, I originally thought it was a plant of some sort ... how wrong was I eh ?

Great capture.

Cheers ...

I missed this one but am glad to have caught up with it now. You have done brilliantly well to create such an effective abstract from a subject that is normally treated very differently. Charles.

Wonderful photograph. Well done.

What a neat perspective! I couldn't tell what it was at first. Good job making a neat abstract out of the rear end of a bird!
