At last the snows of winter have given way to the rains of spring! It was lashing down at lunchtime, so I just grabbed this shot on a very short trip. Added some Tri-x film effects for fun:
A miserable lunch time in the rain today:
Parliament was recalled today for the death of Mrs Thatcher. I was hoping there might be some demonstrations going on, but there was only a small group of people protesting about Chechnya or somewhere. I read there banners four or five times & I still don't know what they were against or for. ...
A display of shoes and bags that caught my eye in Petticoat Lane:
I discoverer the tiny ally of Plantation Lane today which seems to have loads of text about London embeded into the floor. Nice to find something new after all this time of looking:
A fairly cloudy sunset over at Lea Valley Park this evening so I thought I would try getting some teasels in silhouette:
Went for a walk today with our nephew Dan, his grilfriend Leanne and her parents dog Maddie. Here they are:
Just an everyday superhero talking to a man in a superman costume:
On a course all day today so just ended up shooting the glasses on the table in front of me:
Something a tad different for me:
...and brothers and lovers. Light streaking across The Tower Hill Memorial to all the Merchant Seamen who died in the Second World War:
Love the marvellous entrance way to this church:
Another pic of our Charlie. Here he is waiting patiently for a treat or a command:
Went out to try some flower shots in the garden, but noticed I had company:
At last the sun came out today, though there was still some patches of snow in the shade. This is Charlie our Working Cocker (or "Wocker") enjoying himself in Hylands Park this morning:
