This is simply wonderful Lorraine,the crop and presentation are excellent.The eye contact is great and what else could it be with wonderful eyes like that.Like the expression and the black and white too Lorraine,very nice indeed.

Wow, that's simply stunning! I love the composure, the image is razor sharp, the expression is excellent, and those beautiful eyes really make the image.

It looks like this was shot with a studio flash and a large softbox? What equipment and apertures did you use?

max lens aperture f/3
focal length 14mm

hi there, seeing the above capture one cannot miss these lovely eyes, the above child has! One thing, i would sugggest for improving such image is the control of highlight area in the face, as it seems to be blown out (pure white), when actually the skin has color, form, shape and texture in reality.

Actually I like the choice for high key photography here, however in my opinion, seeing some detial in the center area (approx 10 - 18 % grey), would improve the quality of the BW image overall.
