Snapped this last weekend at Stonehenge, unfortunately i was travelling hom on the sunday so couldn'y go up for the summer solstice, but was quite happy with this. The weather was changeable, cloudy but warm, the sun was trying to break through but the storm clouds wouldn't let it, half an hour later the sun started to break through and none of the rain materialised, still was glad for the moodyness of the shot.

C&C's most welcome

Well captured. Looks like a really angry sky.
Glad you stayed dry

Certainly a moody, well proportioned shot, and the clouds make this image. Brings back memories of 2002 when I was there.

Nice capture Louise. Love those heavy clouds hanging over the stones.

Over 35,000 there for the solstice this year apparently. All crammed into that little space!

Excellent photo. We're off down to the south west on holiday in a few weeks and one of the things I'm looking forward to most is dragging the family out of bed before dawn to take some early pictures of stonehenge!

Nice!...
The grunged sky looks really good.
Two bit's:
1st bit to warm just a little (there are some blue tones in the stones)
2nd to desaturate another little

Like this wonderfully atmospheric image with the ancient structure and moody sky. A perfect match, so as well the sun hid for this.

Great shot, you can almost see the druids conjuring something under that moody. Well taken.
