this is a great imposing landmark, near to where I grew up! well caught considering the scale of the subject and nearby distractions

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, after a long legal dispute, it's now been dismantled as bits kept falling off. It's been put into storage but I doubt if it will ever be erected again.
