This is my mate's Dog. It's an Alaskan Malamute pup. Never heard of it before so here is a quick write up I found on google. God help him trying to walk it when it grows up it's already dragging him around. Smile

"The Alaskan Malamute is the oldest and largest sledge dog native to North America. Unlike his racing "cousins", the Malamute is specifically built for heavy freighting. His strength and endurance is second to none. It has often been said that the Malamute would work to the death for his master, thus explaining his self-confident, strong-willed personality......"

Nice portrait. The Malamute is the only dog without any sort of homing device, so if it decides to take off......good luck catching it!!

This is a lovely pet/animal shot Dave with fine detail in the fur and good eye contact. Pity that you lost the tops of the ears as it would transform the shot. Still a great capture. CLIK.
