Hello and welcome. Thanks for looking at my efforts. All constructive criticism and ideas for improvement are most welcome.

About Me

I am now classified as wrinkly old bat, now retired, on my 4th digital SLR and keen to learn and improve my photographic techniques. I gave up carrying a handbag (who cares what a wrinkly looks like anyway) in favour of a camera bag in order not to miss out on photographic opportunities.
I love macro photography but I am not very good at it ---- yet! Insects fascinate me but I am not prepared to stun, freeze or otherwise harm them - except for the horrible snickety snackety bitey things that feast on me. I love all creatures but am particularly fond of the ones that others find ugly. Anyone know where I can photograph warthogs?
The only rule that I believe is valid in photography is that there are no rules and there are only two kinds of photograph - those you like and those you don't. We are all different, we all have different tastes and preferences. That is what makes the world wonderful
